Far North Queensland is home to the saltwater crocodile, the largest reptile on Earth—some grow over 6 metres long and can live for more than 70 years. These powerful predators have roamed the planet since the time of the dinosaurs and thrive in the warm waters of rivers, estuaries, and coastal creeks.

Just before our pickup time we contacted Heather to ask if a trip to Milla Milla Falls for a swim on the way was possible to fit in. She said 'absolutely' and came to collect us right away .... a little earlier than planned. We loved our trip via the Gillies Range suggested by Heather. Extremely picturesque.
